Checkup, Education, & Planning
Your pet's first visit to our office is an occasion for education and planning. Our staff will share information with you on all aspects of your new pet's care and well-being. This is a great time to ask any questions you have about puppy or kitten health care.
Expect to bring your new puppy or kitten in for vaccines every
3-4 weeks. Most vaccines muct be boostered to ensure full protection. For more information on vaccines, visit our "Vaccinations" page.
What to bring:
- Previous History: Please bring a copy of your pet's previous medical history. This helps our staff better guide your appointment and ensure your pet is on track with vaccines.
- Fecal sample: Intestinal parasites are not uncommon in young puppies and kittens. It is important to test their fecal sample so that treatment is not delayed! Fecal results typically take 2-4 days to be recieved after your pet's appointment.
